About This Set: This is a collection dedicated to spectacular quality PCGS-PR70DCAM specimens, with a strong focus on MONSTER DEEP, DEEP CAMEO pieces. I have assisted most of the top sets with locating the super tough coins over the past couple years and I thought it would be fun to also build a nice set of my own now. While it is challenging enough to locate technically "perfect" specimens to quality for the "70" grade, in my opinion the true challenge is in finding the "perfect" MONSTER, DEEP, DEEP CAMEO jewels. Most 70DCAM specimens possess average depth of deep cameo and many others possess mild depth. The top two grading services do not differentiate between mild DCAM, average DCAM, above average DCAM, monster DCAM on their holders and, thus, a critical component of the overall grade can be of below average or average quality and still qualify for the "perfect" PR70DCAM grade. One day I believe the depth of deep cameo will matter and collectors will truly begin to appreciate just how scarce these Kennedys are with true 70DCAM (super strong deep, deep cameo) surfaces.
