This challenging and historic set is chock full of rarities! In circulation strikes, it includes the first $2½ gold piece (the 1796 No Stars), the other rare issue from the first year (the 1796 Stars), the rare 1797, the ultra-rare 1834 Capped Bust and the first Charlotte, Dahlonega and New Orleans quarter eagles. Then there are the proofs. Every proof coin in this set is rarer than an 1804 silver dollar! This magnificent set is almost non-collectible, but if you can do it then numismatic fame is yours for eternity. Capped Bust and Classic Head Proof gold coins—it rarely gets any better than this!
Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
