About This Set:
The goal of this set is to assemble the highest grade pieces available achieving a set rating greater than 65. It would have been easy to asemble a complete set of lesser grade items but the objective is quality and rarity. You can see that several common dates are missing that are easily obtainable. Until those dates can be located in 66 or better, they will not be added to the set. The set will also constantly be upgraded to get the Gem examples of common dates to MS66+. The set features Gem amd Premium Gem Examples of the rare 1908-S, 1909-P(66) 2008, 1910-P(66) 2008, 1911-P(66), 1912-P(66), 1913-P, 1914-P(66), and 1915-P. FAB 5 additions include all Premium Gem 1929, 1930-S, 1931 and 1932. In building the set, the philosophy is to obtain the piece with the most eye appeal and sharpest strike. Emphasis has been centered on the quality of the coin and MS64's must be near-gem or high end. The Only 64 to qualify for this set is the stunning 24-S (ex-Duckor/Akers/Brahin). Many thanks to Todd Imhoff of HCC and JBRAHIN, JKUTASI for their counsel and establishing a coherent philosophy in building a potentially top set.
