About This Set: All of these came from my Grandad, who ran a country store back in the 30's and 40's. He tossed the Morgans and Peaces he received in his trade into an old lard bucket. These weren't safe queens, or carried around for years as pocket pieces in hopes they would wear down to PO01's. These were working coins, straight from the customer's hand to Grandad's, in exchange for a gallon of gas or a bag of feed. He died before I was born, but through his coins we have at least some small connection. I owe it all to my Dad, who had the foresight and love to keep them safe over the years, and instilled in me the appreciation and respect they deserve. Thanks Dad!

The sentimental value behind this set surpasses the grades. Knowing these dollars were passed through family hands in business trade is awesome.
