100 Greatest Women on Coins

Let's hear it for the ladies! This set celebrates the many women who have had a significant impact on human history from ancient times to the present. You'll find queens, empresses, allegorical figures, wives, mothers, daughters, women in art, goddesses, actresses, and so on. The list is based on the book "100 Greatest Women on Coins" by Ron Guth. Pattern Coins, Medals and Tokens are not included in this set because according to Guth's publication, "they fall into the realm of collector coins or exonumia and the public is generally unfamiliar with them."

Notes: There are so many possibilities for many of the women that it is impossible to list all the coin numbers (for instance, there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of different coins that feature Queen Elizabeth).
