2007 Proof Set

The Proof Set grew again this year with the advent of the Presidential Dollar series. Featuring four releases per year over a ten year period, they would be struck for circulation through 2011. Now at 21 pieces, the sets would continue at this size, or even larger, as the Mint continued to issue special series such as the Lincoln Bicentennial Cent, Native American Dollars, and The 50th Anniversary striking of the Kennedy Half.
