This is a set for the hard-core collector of Vermont coins. The first challenge is finding the coins – the 1785 Vermont/Immune Columbia mule is rare, then there’s the extremely rare 1787 Bust Left (always with a massive cud covering virtually all of the date) and the 1788 variety with the backwards C in AUCTORI. As if finding the coins themselves isn’t difficult enough, try locating them on nice, problem-free planchets! Despite these difficulties, this can be an extremely enjoyable set of coins, plus the series is full of great "name" varieties such as "Baby Head," "Britannia" and "Georgivs III Rex."
