One of the advantages of a date set, is that it can usually be completed by a coin from at least one of the mints striking coins that year. That's not to say that all will be easy, and for the nickel set, it is the 1880 circulation strike Shield nickel that is apt to cause the most difficulty as fewer than 120 pieces have been certified in the almost 35 years PCGS has been grading coins. The key date Liberty Nickel, the 1885, is available from a high three figure price (circulated) to a mid four-figure price (uncirculated). None of the Buffalo or Jeffersons should present a problem.
Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
