The Daniel Boone Bicentennial Commemorative was first struck in 1934 at the Philadelphia Mint, and mintage continued for next four years at all three mints. During 1935, a small "1934" was added to the right field on the reverse, creating two varieties for that year. The scarcest issues are the branch mint issues of 1937 and 1938 as well as the D and S mints for 1935/34 variety.
