About This Set:
From the Experts at PCGS
1792 Patterns are among the rarest of all U.S. coins and, nowadays, even a single example can be the highlight of an auction. The Norweb family acquired all five of the officially sanctioned 1792 patterns, but none of the Getz patterns (which, in all fairness, have long been considered part of Washingtonia, a separate collecting field). Their Silver-Center Cent was a beautiful Mint State example and their 1792 Disme was a choice Extremely Fine. Their’s was a set to be admired and emulated.
