About This Set: The basic design set of silver dollars from the Republic of China includes images of: the founding President, Sun Yat-sen; the military general, Yuan Shih-kai; the warlord, Chu Yu-pu; and others. The only design that lacks the image of a person is the Pu-Yi Wedding dollar of 1923. This set of 16 silver dollar design type is rich in Chinese history and represents both a challenging and a rewarding collection. The “key” to this set is the extremely rare 1927 Chu Yu-pu dollar.
