About This Set: This Morgan Dollar set is named after a mining town in the Panamint Valley in California. Ballarat, now a ghost town, served the (mostly silver) mining interests in the Panamint Range circa 1900 and was named for a city in the gold district of Australia. A complete set of uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollars is the goal here, with good eye appeal, naturally. Uncirculated examples of a few dates, such as 1893-S, 1892-S, 1895-O and 1884-S, might not happen, but we will see! In October, 2020, I finally purchased the 1893-S (XF45/CAC) to complete the basic set.
