The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is one of America’s most popular designs and one of coin collecting’s most popular sets. The problem is that a complete set of all date and mintmark combinations can become extremely expensive, especially in MS-63 and better conditions (in particular, the 1921-S is a legendary rarity in Mint State). By creating this date set, we’ve taken much of the financial pressure off, but not completely. Most of the early dates prior to 1934 present a real challenge in top grades, but the later dates are easy to find in Gem condition. When completed, this set can be a source of great pride.
