Captivating Mint State Crown of Kojong
KOREA. 5 Yang, Year 501 (1892). Kojong (as King). PCGS MS-62.
KM-1114; K&C-30.1. Mintage: 19,932. Surpassed by just two examples in the PCGS census, this nearly-choice crown presents cartwheel luster emerging from beneath the attractive toning when cradled back and forth. Overall, the surfaces sport a golden-champagne nature, with some speckled deeper toning noted nearer the peripheries. It goes without saying that this piece is stunningly RARE when encountered so enticing and well preserved.
